Avatarium

The setting of Avatarium is that of a Victorian fair ground’s Hall of Mirrors. Several virtual mirrors within the interactive artifact represent the multitude of identities people can now hold

The Interaction takes place using Phidets (www.phidgets.com), to interface with Flash taking the values of two light sensors to control the level of distortion applied to the mirrors. Users then have the ability to take a photograph of their distorted selfs using a pressure pad also controlled by Phidgets.
